Community Living Burlington is actively seeking experienced individuals for our governance board. Ideal candidates will possess strong backgrounds in financial management, board governance, or human resources. Experience in the non-profit sector or social services enhances your candidacy, as we aim for a broad range of perspectives.

Key Responsibilities:• Attend Board meetings every other month and the Annual General meeting • Engage in Board committee discussions • Participate in strategic planning and organizational initiatives • Promote the mission and vision of the organization • Work collaboratively with fellow board members

Requirements:• Lived experience in governance or advisory roles • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills • Critical thinking and problem-solving ability • Commitment to community service and inclusivity • Resident of Halton preferred for meeting attendance
