SAP FICO Functional Analyst, Burlington

Our client in the manufacturing sector is seeking a full-time permanent SAP FICO Functional Analyst to support and enhance their SAP S/4HANA environment. This is a hands‑on SAP support and enhancement role focused on Finance and Controlling operations within a live S/4HANA manufacturing environment.

Hybrid– Burlington, ON

Responsibilities

Configure and support SAP FICO processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cost Center Accounting, and Product Costing

Support day‑to‑day SAP FICO operations in a live S/4HANA manufacturing environment, including troubleshooting production issues, resolving user tickets, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives

Support month‑end and year‑end financial processes and issue resolution

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including SD, MM, PP, and business stakeholders to ensure integrated business processes

Support account determination, financial postings, reconciliation, and integration troubleshooting

Gather and translate business requirements into functional SAP solutions

Support testing activities including SIT, UAT, defect resolution, and deployment validation

Assist with enhancements, reporting improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives

Provide end‑user support, process documentation, and knowledge transfer

Requirements

5+ years of hands‑on SAP FICO functional experience

Experience with SAP S/4HANA or ECC environments

Strong configuration experience across core FICO modules

Experience supporting live SAP production environments

Experience troubleshooting integration issues between FICO and SD/MM/PP

Understanding of manufacturing finance processes including costing and inventory accounting

Experience with account determination, reconciliation, and financial posting analysis

Strong problem‑solving and communication skills

Ability to operate independently in a lean support environment with a high degree of ownership

Experience working in AMS/support environments with SLA‑driven ticket management

Nice to Have

Experience with Product Costing or COPA

Exposure to SAP Fiori

Experience with intercompany accounting processes

Exposure to reporting and analytics tools
