Department Overview The TD Equipment Finance team is a Centre of Excellence within Business Banking. Our mandate is to structure equipment financing (leases and loans) for business clients and prospects as an alternative to other conventional bank sources of financing such as term loans.
Responsabilités
Reporting to the Manager Documentation– Ontario, GTA, Prairie,&Pacific, TD Equipment Finance (TDEF), responsible for managing documentation for new originations and sales support for clients.
Coordinate transactions with vendors, customers, bankers, and Account Executives; secure required documentation, prepare documents and initiate the funding process.
Work with Legal and Credit departments to facilitate transaction completions.
Obtain/compile documentation to meet AML and KYC guidelines.
Register/assess transactions for PMSI/RDPRM priority, review searches and obtain waivers.
Respond to customer service inquiries and interface with external TDEF customers when necessary.
Assist in identifying viable solutions to make deals work.
Deliver high‑quality customer service and improve the customer experience.
Build and maintain relationships with internal fulfillment partners to maximize efficiency and service.
Referrals and cross‑functional collaboration within Business Banking and across TDBFG.
Participate in performance management: reviews, feedback, coaching, and development discussions.
Promote a positive inclusive environment supporting a diverse workplace.
Support administrative tasks as needed and focus on service‑level deliverables with strong attention to detail.
Comply with Bank and Industry Codes of Conduct.
Qualifications
Business experience in the financial industry preferred.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Resourceful, organized, able to work with minimal supervision in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
Team‑oriented and meets individual and team benchmarks.
Diligent and detail‑oriented to mitigate risk.
Proactive problem‑resolution approach.
Quick to learn new systems and applications.
Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office.
5 years of Equipment Finance experience preferred.
College or university graduate preferred.
