KEY DUTIES The Research Assistant will work closely with Dr Robels and the BCDI team and RDI, Brandon University. They will be responsible for:

Assist with the supporting and organizing BCDI Scholar travels and supports;

Highlighting BCDI Scholar and project activities and outcomes;

Participate in regular team meetings;

Assist with drafting a summary report

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

Enrolled in the 4th year of an undergraduate program or a Master’s program at Brandon University and interested in rural community development;

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;

Ability to receive direction, follow through according to timelines, and work independently;

Effective and professional communication skills and experience;

Project skills such as reporting and work planning are a strong asset;

High level of digital and technological skills;

This position requires cross-cultural experience
