Overview An exciting opportunity has arisen within Radiology NHS Fife. We are looking to appoint two Radiography Assistants to join our existing friendly team on a full‑time and part‑time basis. Radiology NHS Fife provides radiography services across five sites.
Responsibilities
Provide clinical support for Radiologists, Radiographers, Sonographers and Mammographers, ensuring the comfort and safety of patients undergoing various radiology procedures.
Work across different modalities within the department including Ultrasound, CT, Breast service and the General department.
Conduct cannulation and record vital signs– an essential part of the role.
Operate within the Radiology Information System (training will be provided).
Work flexible hours, including extended days, weekends, and public holiday rotas.
Travel efficiently between various work locations within NHS Fife to meet service requirements.
Qualifications
Previous experience within a radiology department.
Knowledge of the Radiology Information System (advantageous).
Ability to work flexible hours, including extended days and weekends.
Strong team‑player attitude, enthusiasm, and adaptability.
