Data Engineer at Ontario One Call, Courtice

Support critical data operations at Ontario One Call as a Data Engineer. Contribute to building and maintaining reliable data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric, SQL, and Python in a collaborative environment.

As part of the Data Engineering and AI Enablement team, you will focus on implementing data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and supporting enterprise reporting. This hands-on role requires strong engineering fundamentals and effective collaboration with peers and stakeholders to drive safe excavation initiatives forward in Ontario.

Key Responsibilities:• Implement data pipelines and transformations in Microsoft Fabric • Develop SQL transformations for analytics and reporting • Build and maintain batch data workflows with Data Factory • Apply data quality controls and observe compliance standards • Document processes and maintain technical documentation

Requirements:• 3-5 years of data engineering experience • Proficient in SQL and Python for data tasks • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric services • Familiar with cloud data platforms and Lakehouse concepts • Ability to troubleshoot data quality issues
