Essential Responsibilities

Demonstrate leadership in health, safety, and environmental protection on the project. Implement the Project Specific Safety Program (PSSP) to ensure adherence to Ledcor's HS&E standards, as well as compliance with applicable OH&S acts, regulations, and codes by all employees and subcontractors involved in the project. Develop and maintain the construction schedule in conjunction with the project team to meet milestones and completion dates. Lead project meetings with internal and external stakeholders to monitor and support the project’s ongoing progression.Identify and manage opportunities and risks to achieve the best possible impact on schedule and financial targets. Manage the procurement process including subcontractor/trade/supplier negotiations and awards. Ensure that the quality of materials and workmanship meet or exceed standards identified in approval documents.Maintain and track billings, reports and projections and implement trade awards and construction work within financial targets and constraints. Review design and construction documents for constructability and value engineering and provide feedback to client. Qualifications

5+ years of civil construction experience as a Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager. Completion of post-secondary education in civil engineering or a related field. Project experience working on rail transit in live corridors, highways, bridges, roads, grading and other structural infrastructure projects.Experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects for a General Contractor in Canada. Professional Engineer license in the Province of Ontario (asset). Prior experience in assisting with design and construction in an active rail corridor; specifically on structural portions of heavy civil projects including steel, concrete, columns, beams, and other associated elements for buildings, bridges and other structures.Strong knowledge of Design-Build or Collaborative Contract models. Demonstrated exposure to project controls, progress tracking and reporting. Strong computer background including experience with MS Word and Excel; heavy bid and Primavera preferred. Effective communication skills, confident interacting with key contacts in verbal, written, and electronic form.Working Conditions

Site based position in Oshawa, Ontario. Compensation

Base salary range: $97,200.00 - $129,600.00 (range may vary based on experience, skills, education, and location). Total rewards package includes compensation and benefits supporting physical, mental, and financial wellbeing. Employment Equity
