310T Licensed Mechanic, Courtice

Position Summary

The Licensed 310T mechanic is responsible for servicing and maintaining company equipment by using standard“Best Practices”, and providing guidance to apprentices. Responsibilities will encompass diagnosing mechanical issues, conducting repairs, and performing preventive maintenance tasks to keep our fleet in optimal condition. Additionally, you will collaborate with the maintenance team, adhere to safety standards, and contribute to minimizing downtime and maximizing the efficiency of our trucking services.Schedule: Mon‑Thurs, 7:30 am to 6:00 pm What You Will Do

Examine objects, systems, or facilities, and analyze information to determine needed installations, services, or repairs. Determine schedules, sequences, and assignments for work activities, based on work priority, quantity of equipment and skill of personnel. Assist apprentices and technicians to correct job‑skill deficiencies and provide developmental direction.Monitor tool and part inventories and the condition and maintenance of shops to ensure adequate working conditions. Compile operational and personnel records, such as time and production records, inventory data, repair and maintenance statistics, and test results. What You’ll Bring

3‑4 years’ experience as a truck and coach mechanic. College diploma or trade apprenticeship certification. Certification: Licensed Heavy Duty Truck Mechanic; 310T. Skills&Competencies

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work in a high volume, fast‑paced environment. Ability to multi‑task and be flexible with the company’s ever‑changing needs.
