Our Opportunity Our Wealth Management team is looking for a Senior Financial Planner to join the team. This is a replacement position, and the successful candidate will be responsible for:
Identify complex financial planning needs and solutions for clients by considering their wealth, life goals and other objectives.
Serve as a resource for clients with complex needs surrounding financial planning, investments, insurance, tax management, retirement analysis, estate planning, succession planning, etc.
Develop recommendations and identify areas of opportunity to assist clients in achieving their financial goals.
Execute the financial planning cycle by creating, editing and proofing financial plans.
Manage the discovery and delivery process with clients.
Liaise between investment dealers, accountants, lawyers and insurance professionals.
Other financial planning tasks, including but not limited to meeting preparation, RRSP, RESP and TFSA account tracking, research assignments, preparing report packages and completing data entry in financial planning software.

Experience and Education
Completed CFP designation; post‑graduate diploma in Financial Planning or a related discipline is a strong asset.
Completed CPA designation; post‑graduate diploma in accounting or a related discipline is a strong asset.
5-7 years of experience in the wealth/financial planning industry preferred.
Inquisitive, with a curious attitude; continuously asking questions and looking for improvement opportunities.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; natural ability to build rapport and trusted relationships with clients.
Experience with planning software and proficiency in MS Office (especially Word and Excel); experience using TaxPrep software is an asset.
Experience preparing financial plans with complex corporate and trust structures preferred.
Ability to work well independently with minimal supervision.
Compensation The expected range of compensation for this role is $92,000– $138,000 annually.
