We are looking for a hard-working, team-oriented, and competent blaster with experience in quarries, site servicing, road blasting, etc. A Blaster-in-charge should be knowledgeable, responsible, and able to run their jobsite with accountability, inclusivity, and professionalism.

Required Qualifications and Skills

At least 5 years blasting experience

Experience with hydraulic drill operation

Must be a team player with great communication skills, who is eager to learn

Able to lift heavy loads and be prepared for frequent strenuous activity

Must be willing and able to work in all elements (heat, cold, wind, rain)

Willingness to work out of town for periods of time, sometimes at a moment’s notice

Extremely safety conscious

Basic computer and smart phone knowledge

Knowledge of an assortment of tools and equipment
