Painter/Drywaller, Quinte Shores, East Northumberland County&Prince Edward County (P

The Byng Group is a leading interior renovation general contractor with more than 50 years of experience and a team of over 500, specializing in high‑rise rental properties. We are looking for experienced Painters to join our team in Trenton.

Responsibilities

Paint walls, ceilings, doors, hallways, and shelving in apartment units

Prepare surfaces to be plastered

Fill in nicks and cuts in ceilings, walls, and partitions using plaster

Repair walls with drywall

Sand areas after each coat to make drywall paint‑ready

Perform drywall repairs, taping, and plastering

Drywall installation is considered an asset

Framing with metal studs is considered an asset

Job Requirements

At least 3 years of experience

Own tools required– they are not supplied

Quality and speed are assessed

Able to problem‑solve on‑site and off‑site

Ability to follow and complete a daily, weekly, and monthly task schedule

Willing to travel to Belleville and Trenton (considered an asset)
