Job Description Our client is seeking a Small Animal Emergency Veterinarian to join a well‑equipped after‑hours hospital in a newly created position. You will be responsible for assessing, stabilising, and treating emergency and critical care cases in a fast‑paced setting. Qualifications Needed

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree

Eligible for full veterinary licensure in Ontario

Three to seven years of small animal clinical experience

Confidence managing emergency and urgent care presentations

Strong decision‑making skills under pressure

Responsibilities

Stabilise and treat urgent and critical cases

Perform emergency surgical procedures as required

Interpret diagnostic imaging and laboratory findings rapidly

Communicate clearly with clients during time‑sensitive situations

Work closely with veterinary nurses to ensure coordinated patient care
