Registered Behaviour Analyst (RBA) Contract Opportunity Community Services of Belleville and District (CSBD) is a non‑profit community‑based agency providing social work services to a tri‑county area surrounding Belleville, Ontario.
An immediate, full‑time, contract position with Community Services of Belleville and District for a Registered Behaviour Analyst is available. This unique role will offer the opportunity to work with the Autism Services Team at CSBD as well as the team at Children's Treatment Centre‑ Quinte Health (CTC QH).
Under the direct supervision of a Clinical and Program Manager, and in collaboration with a team of clinicians and therapists, the successful applicant will provide clinical leadership and accountability to ensure the delivery of client‑centered treatment programs and services to our clients and our community.
Responsibilities CSBD
Plan, create, coordinate, monitor and supervise and implement behaviour service plans and treatment programs.
Provide supervision that ensures service plans and therapy adhere to provincial guidelines, CSBD's mandate, mission, philosophy, policies, and professional standards, including the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO).
Ensure current, complete, and accurate recordkeeping.
Interact with community to provide in‑service training and/or presentations.
CTC QH
Provide direct RBA services to clients with social‑emotional and/or behavioural needs.
Develop and share resource materials for children, youth, families, and service providers.
Collaborate with CTC QH clinicians to support clients' therapy readiness and social‑emotional development.
Deliver short‑term mediator‑model training for caregivers.
Participate in interdisciplinary teams, clinics, committees, and working groups.
Qualifications
A university degree or community college diploma in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), with a current CPR/BLCScertification.
Minimum two years’ direct clinical ABA experience working with infants, young children, children with Autism, and their families to provide developmental intervention.
Demonstrated ability to conduct child assessments, develop, and evaluate program curriculum, and measure effectiveness and appropriateness of service delivery.
Knowledge of child development and the impact of social‑emotional and behavioural concerns.
Excellent oral and written communication, judgement, and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with staff, children, families, and the greater public in arbitrating difficult situations.
Proficiency with computers is essential.
A valid driver’s license, access to a reliable vehicle, and appropriate insurance are required.
Employment Package This position involves a 35‑hour per week, and a flexible work schedule (may include occasional evenings) that will be determined by the needs of the families and clients we serve. The annual salary for this role is
$74,910.00 .
