Assistant Service Manager Pay Rate: $70,000 - $80,000 per year Belleville Toyota

Belleville Toyota is a family run dealership looking for the ideal candidate that has a passion for the automotive business to join our successful service team. At Belleville Toyota, our Assistant Service Manager is responsible for building, supporting and mentoring our service team to achieve the expectations of our guest experience along with providing a high standard of service quality and integrity.

Responsibilities

Assisting the service manager in day to day tasks, as well as in accomplishing monthly goals and targets

Provide guidance and coaching to team in order to provide a consistent and outstanding guest experience

Support team members in their duties through constant coaching and training

Coordinate with Service Manager in daily circles with advisors/ technician to identify and overcome any potential areas of concern

Building relationships with external and internal guests in order to operate as one team

Oversee all activities occurring in drive-through, service shop, guest lounge, shuttle service

Manage&monitor daily appointments as well as manage internal work generated by the sales department

Manage dispatch duties for the shop ensuring that promise times are met

Proactively plan and organize daily departmental targets to achieve monthly targets

Taking ownership of guest experience

Sharing fresh ideas for advertising and marketing, shop productivity, advisor productivity, increased client satisfaction and excellent relationships within Belleville Toyota

Being a role model of the Belleville Toyota company culture

Qualifications

3-5 years experience in a service advisor position, ideally in a dealership environment

College diploma or University degree (an asset)

Experience with DMS tools

Proven ability to take on challenges with a positive mindset

Superior written and verbal communication skills

Belief in a consistent walk around process

Exceptional organizational skills&attention to detail

Level headed and consistent approach to challenges and workflow

Truly enjoys people– enjoys being engaged and actively involved with team members, guests, suppliers and corporate

A desire to step up and cover the full operations of a service department when the Service Manager is absent

Successful candidates can expect to earn between $70,000 and $80,000 depending upon experience, in addition to a comprehensive group benefit program.
