Junior Production Manager - Food Manufacturing (Barrie)

A global food manufacturing company is seeking a motivated Junior Manufacturing Manager to support our noodle manufacturing operations in Canada. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow into a management position while gaining hands‑on experience in production operations, food safety, and team leadership within a supportive environment.Our new facility is currently under development, and onboarding is expected to begin in late July 2026. Responsibilities

Support day‑to‑day production operations at a noodle manufacturing facility, ensuring smooth workflow, product quality, and food safety standards. Assist in supervising and coordinating a small production team of approximately 20–30 employees, with guidance and training provided. Help monitor production output and address basic operational issues on the production floor.Participate in process improvement initiatives and learn production planning and team management practices. Work closely with senior staff and other departments to support inventory management, documentation, and operational efficiency. Other duties as assigned. Requirements

2+ years of relevant experience in food manufacturing or food production, or a related field is required. Experience in a supervisor or shift lead role is an asset, with the ability to step into a leadership position. Ability to supervise and communicate effectively with a small team in a production environment.Forklift experience and/or valid forklift certification is considered an asset. Available to attend training at Vancouver plant for up to a maximum of 3 months. Flexibility to work changing shifts in the future, including early morning (5:30AM–2:00PM) or afternoon (2:00PM–10:30PM) shifts as operations evolve.
