EL&D is responsible for the strategic direction and establishment of learning and development solutions at TD, building capabilities for leaders and employees consistent with TD's business objectives and talent strategy, so all colleagues can thrive.Role DescriptionReporting to Manager, Learning Enablement, the L&D Project Manager will partner with individual businesses, Learning Solutions Architects/Advisors, vendors, and the broader EL&D team to ensure successful delivery of high quality, innovative, diverse, multi-modal blended learning solutions that support business priorities, enable people strategies, and impact key business measures.This role is responsible for leading the end-to-end planning and execution of low-to-medium complexity L&D projects which entail design, development, and delivery of internal or outsourced enterprise-wide and business-specific solutions. The successful candidate will effectively leverage project management methodologies, processes, and tools&technologies to establish clarity of vision and a detailed execution plan throughout each project life cycle.Job RequirementsUnderstand and follow L&D processes to implement learning solutions in various formats including but not limited to in-person or virtual Instructor-led training (ILT), eLearning, webinars, self-directed learner pathways, and workshopsLead the end-to-end planning and execution of low-to-medium complexity L&D projects, leveraging key project management tools to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budgetSupport the vendor engagement and onboarding process when third-party learning solutions are within scopeBuild relationships and maintain regular communications with internal and external stakeholdersReport on project progress and actively manage/resolve risks and issuesConduct project retrospectives and act on lessons learned for continuous improvementStay current with emerging trends in project management inclusive of Agile and hybrid project practices and principlesBe an active member of the broader project management community by sharing subject matter expertise and learning to advance professional growthQualifications/Skills/ExperienceMinimum 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in a learning or adult training environmentThorough understanding of project management frameworks and methodologiesPMP certification is preferredAgile and/or Scrum certification is an assetDemonstrated knowledge in adult learning principlesProven track record of delivering results and commitment to operational and service excellenceStrong client focus with ability to listen and quickly learn about various clientsAbility to prioritize and manage multiple projects concurrently with changing business priorities in a fast-paced environmentAbility to manage multiple stakeholders and build relationships effectively, leveraging sound communication, negotiation, consensus-building and influencing skillsSolutions-focused, "can-do" attitude to foster positive team morale and high engagementUnderstanding of how to translate business needs into requirements for learning solutions in collaboration with L&D partnersStrong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skillsHighly adaptable and flexible with ability to take initiative in a dynamic work environmentProficiency in MS Office suite, especially MS ProjectCompetency in team meeting facilitation in virtual environments leveraging collaboration tools such as MS Teams and WebexExperience with LMS and LXP is a bonusExperience with eLearning tools and standards (e.g., SCORM, xAPI, HTML 5) and development software (e.g., Articulate Storyline/Rice) is a nice to haveWho We Are:TD is one of the world's leading global financial institutions and is the fifth largest bank in North America by branches/stores.
