Join MCAP as a Collections Specialist, where you will manage early-stage mortgage arrears and assist homeowners through the collections process. This role involves resolving delinquent accounts and negotiating effective repayment plans.
As a vital member of the customer service team, you will handle inbound calls and emails, providing support to homeowners facing challenges such as lapsed home insurance and tax arrears. Your strong decision-making and problem-solving skills will be essential as you review payment histories to determine appropriate resolutions. Building relationships with homeowners, you will proactively prevent future arrears while maintaining meticulous account records.
Key Responsibilities:• Resolve accounts in early arrears (1-30 days) • Address inquiries on home insurance and tax issues • Initiate outbound calls when necessary • Negotiate repayment solutions on a case-by-case basis • Maintain organized and accurate account records
Requirements:• Proficiency in MS Office Suite • Excellent decision-making skills • Ability to build strong relationships • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment • Call center or collections experience preferred
