Claims Call Center Senior Representative– 6 month contract Zoom: 131276
Opportunity Zurich Canada is looking for an experienced claims processor and customer service professional to join our Call Centre team on a six‑month contract.
The role involves processing routine and complex first reports of loss, as well as managing specialized projects on cutting‑edge initiatives.
You will report to the Claims Call Centre Manager, working closely with internal and external partners to deliver timely and high‑quality service in a collaborative, values‑driven environment.
Zurich Canada uses artificial‑intelligence‑enabled tools to support the recruitment process, but all hiring decisions are reviewed and made by qualified hiring professionals.
The position requires a hybrid work model—three days per week of in‑person presence (office or market‑facing engagements).
What you will do
Handle complex technical duties and specialized/pilot projects for commercial lines of business.
Manage intake of claims involving Centers of Expertise lawsuits.
Monitor and manage resources/cash within defined procedures.
Interact closely with internal business partners, including Underwriters, Account Managers, and specialized claims personnel.
Collaborate with external business partners, including Agents/Brokers.
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory controls relevant to standard work practices within the region.
Meet established departmental quality, phone availability, and productivity objectives.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Team Manager or other members of the Management team.
Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
Participate in business travel and mandatory overtime during peak periods, shift work, and holiday work as required.
Job Qualifications– What you bring to the table Required
High School Diploma or Equivalent and 2 or more years of experience in Customer Service
OR
Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree with no prior experience required in Customer Service
Preferred Intermediate customer service experience required
Minimum of 2 years contact centre experience.
Insurance knowledge is an asset.
Compensation The salary range for this position is $50,000– $60,000, which may vary based on office location, specific responsibilities, and individual qualifications.
Starting salaries may exceed this range based on skills and experience.
