About the Role Join a dynamic team that thrives on collaboration, innovation, and growth. The Healthcare&Social Services team, within the Industries and Government Practice, works alongside hospitals, health systems, provincial ministries, health agencies, and community and social service organizations to design and deliver meaningful, lasting change. This role combines hands‑on delivery, client leadership, and team development. As a Manager, you will structure complex problems, guide teams, and work with senior client stakeholders to deliver actionable, implementable solutions.
Responsibilities
Lead the delivery of consulting engagements for healthcare and social service clients across system transformation, service delivery and operations, digital health, policy and program transformation, operating model design, and process improvement.
Manage day‑to‑day client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor to healthcare leaders and stakeholders.
Simultaneously manage multiple active client engagements or workstreams, maintaining delivery quality, budget adherence, and timeline integrity; proactively identify and resolve risks, issues, and competing priorities before escalation.
Facilitate workshops and engagement events and conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses to assess current state, define future state, and develop and execute practical implementation roadmaps.
Develop high‑quality client deliverables including presentations, business cases, reports and executive communications.
Support business development activities including proposal writing, scoping, relationship building, and identifying opportunities to expand our reach within the healthcare sector.
Partner collaboratively with client executives, clinical leaders, operational teams, and cross‑functional stakeholders to drive sustainable change.
Provide day‑to‑day direction, coaching and mentoring project teams; manage career development and support employees through the Career Development Program.
Contribute to the life and culture of the organization.
Qualifications
5-7 years of healthcare consulting experience, or 7-10 years in healthcare operations or transformation delivery.
Experience leading projects in healthcare environments such as hospitals, health systems, governments or agencies, public health organizations, health and/or community social service providers, or other broader health sector organizations.
Demonstrated experience in healthcare transformation, strategy, process redesign, digital health, PMO/project delivery, organizational design, change management, or performance improvement.
Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and structured communication skills.
Experience managing project teams and senior client stakeholders in complex environments.
Strong executive presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to influence decision‑makers.
Proven ability to balance strategic thinking with practical implementation.
Entrepreneurial mindset, sound judgment, and a collaborative approach.
Familiarity with technology, data, digital transformation, AI and related concepts and trends.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills at a consulting standard.
Bilingualism in English and French is considered an asset, though not required.
Required Education: Related university degree in business, health care, or public policy.
Preferred Education: Post‑graduate degree (e.g., MBA, MPA, MPP) or health/clinical designation (e.g., MHA, CPHIMS, RN) or additional designations (e.g., CPA, PMP, Lean, PROSCI).
Compensation Salary range: $110,000– $135,000 CAD. Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, and experience and is subject to negotiation.
