Reports to: Operations Leader

Responsibilities

Lead the production team on multiple lines.

Lead by example and train, develop, and inspire production team.

Be instrumental in developing a high-performance team where all team members work coherently to“win” together.

Plan production operations, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products.

Develop plans for efficient use of material, machines , and labor.

Responsible to maximize Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) for the line.

Review production orders or schedules to ascertain product data such as types, quantities and specifications of products and scheduled delivery dates to plan department operations.

Inspect machines and equipment to ensure specific operational performance and optimum utilization .

Inspect products to verify conformance to specifications and directs set-up and adjustments of machines.

Maintains time and production records.

Confer with s hift l eaders and coordinates production to ensure product is ready per customer requirements.

Observe all s afety rules and promote a safe working environment with team members .

Operate filler and downstream when required .

Maintain strict Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) .

Compliance with all rules&policies regarding health safety, occupational safety, environmental safety, food safety, legal regulations, company requirements, etc.

Compliance with the Company's Integrated Management Systems which includes, but is not limited to Production, Quality, Food Safety&GMP.

Other duties as assigned.

Profile

Bachelor’s degree in e ngineering, b usiness, or related fields

Ability to apply critical thinking skills to solve problems

An ambitious self-starter with strong desire to grow professionally

Proficient computer skills ( M icrosoft Suite of Applications ), and instructional softwar e

Good interpersonal skills and communication skills to interact with all levels of management

Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines

Excellent leadership, team building, and management skills to encourage , mentor , train, and lead staff
