Description
Overview Publicis is looking for a Production&Motion Designer, with an eye for design to help us create engaging content in for web, social, and more. The ideal candidate will have a passion for motion graphics, animation, and design. You will work closely with the creative director, art directors, copywriters, designers, project managers, account directors, and other members of the team to develop dynamic, engaging visual content for a wide range of digital platforms.
Responsibilities
Create engaging animations:
Design and animate graphics for video content, websites, advertisements, and social media.
Develop eye catching campaigns:
Well versed in colour theory, typography and the principles of design, you’ll roll out campaigns that are within brand guidelines and engaging for their consumers.
Collaborate with team:
Work closely with Art Directors, Senior Designers, and other creative / accounts staff to produce high-quality motion design content.
Support branding efforts:
Ensure that motion designs align with brand guidelines and the overall creative direction of our brands.
Work with deadlines:
Manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Stay updated on industry trends:
Keep up with the latest trends, tools, and techniques in motion design to bring fresh ideas to the team.
Qualifications
Proficiency in motion design software:
Strong skills in Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere, 3D work not required but nice to have (Cinema 4D, Blender, etc.).
Graphic design software acumen:
Well versed in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma
Video editing expertise and command of animation principles:
You understand timing, pacing, and spacing in motion graphics.
Sound design basics:
Comfortable selecting/placing simple SFX and music, doing quick level balancing, and syncing audio beats to motion.
GenAI workflow readiness:
Comfortable using generative AI tools to speed up concepting, versioning, and production.
Attention to detail:
Strong ability to focus on fine details while maintaining creative consistency.
Creativity and problem-solving:
Ability to brainstorm and bring creative ideas to life.
Team player:
Willingness to collaborate with others and take feedback constructively.
Able to thrive in a fast paced, detail-oriented environment.
Min 4-5+ years of experience in an agency or similar environment.
Additional information Salary
Transparency matters to us. The salary range for this position is CAD$80K-$90K per year. Actual compensation within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and applicable certifications. This range reflects what we reasonably expect to offer based on current market data.
