Description
The role of the Concierge is to provide quick, efficient and courteous service to all Morguard residents&visitors. This role acts as a brand ambassador by providing an engaging and memorable experience from the moment a resident or visitor walks through the door.
How You’ll Make a Difference 1. Concierge Duties
Greets all visitors as they enter or exit the property
Provides information about local features such as shopping, dining, nightlife, and recreation.
Makes customer service, care and satisfaction the priority in every interaction
Strives to provide tailor made solutions to meet specific resident needs
Receives and logs items delivered to residents
Assists the team in emergency situations by directing emergency vehicles and maintaining traffic control as needed
Reports all incidents via the Daily Report and/or Incident Report in accordance with company policies
Regularly patrols property, inspecting all access points for safety and security of residents; participates in monitoring all security cameras, elevators and building systems
2. Administration duties
Assists the Building Manager in day-to-day operations of the building
Ensures that a superior level of service and support is provided to residents
Answers residents’ general inquiries about living in their suite, building and community
Actively supports the Building Manager with lease renewals and retention
Assists with“move-in” and move-out procedures
Any other duties as requested by Management
3. Leasing duties
Greets prospective residents when Building Manager is not present and qualify by covering all criteria (ask questions, utilize completed guest cards, etc.)
Immediately records all telephone and in-person visits on appropriate reports
Assists the Building Manager in showing prospective residents available suites, in processing resident applications and lease agreements
The Expertise You’ll Bring
Completion of High‑School or general education degree (GED)
1+ year of related experience in a sales / admin and in a customer service or related role
Computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, Yardi, Email, internet)
Core Competencies
Proven track record of following through to achieve results
Strong team player, eager and willing contributor to team success even in areas outside position requirements
Ability to work on flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
Ability to allocate own time effectively, work well under pressure, and manage tight deadlines
Ability to take initiative, innovate and continuously seek to improve
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
Experience with leasing principles would be an asset
