BIM Modeller Role in Transportation Projects, Toronto

SYSTRA Canada is looking for a skilled BIM Modeller in Structural Engineering to innovate light rail projects using Autodesk Revit. This role supports comprehensive design and ensures accurate modelling practices.

As a BIM Modeller, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining detailed 3D structures like tunnels and retaining walls. Your collaboration with multidiscipline teams will help mitigate design clashes and shape efficient project outcomes. You’ll also ensure all models align with client and project requirements while focusing on quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:• Create and maintain Revit models for structural elements in light rail • Design 2D drawings and elevations from comprehensive BIM data • Ensure compliance with modelling standards and guidelines • Work with engineers to ensure clarity in deliverables • Engage in clash detection and quality checks during modelling

Requirements:• Degree or diploma in Structural Engineering or related fields • Relevant BIM Modeller experience in infrastructure • Proficient with Autodesk Revit in collaborative platforms • Knowledge of construction documentation and detailing • Familiarity with rail or transit infrastructure
