This position sits at the intersection of finance, operations, and transformation, supporting the integration of newly acquired businesses into a dynamic and evolving organization.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Finance, Legal, Tax, and Operations to ensure seamless transitions following acquisitions. Your Responsibilities
You’ll lead accounting system integrations and conversions, supporting transitions from legacy systems to modern platforms such as Sage 300
In this role, you’ll manage trial balance reconciliations and ensure accuracy across multiple acquired entities
You’ll support purchase price accounting, including valuations, journal entries, and post‑close adjustments
You’ll collaborate with internal teams and external advisors to align financial, legal, and operational requirements
You’ll communicate financial changes clearly to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and understanding across teams
You’ll help train and guide newly integrated teams, setting them up for long‑term success
Skills and Qualifications
7+ years of progressive experience in acquisition accounting, transaction advisory, or related consulting work
Bilingual in English and French, with the ability to interpret complex financial and legal documentation in both languages
Strong knowledge of Canadian accounting standards, including acquisition accounting practices
Demonstrated experience with financial systems and data integrations
Proven ability to work cross‑functionally and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
Strong communication and relationship‑building skills, with a collaborative and adaptable approach
