Job Overview As a Consultant in Market Access, Health Economics, and Advisory Services, you will support a broad range of client projects across the pharmaceutical and medical device space throughout Canada.

Key Responsibilities

Support delivery of client projects including market access, retrospective database studies, business strategy, health economic analyses, patient journeys, and access metrics.

Contribute to study design and methodology development.

Develop innovative approaches, frameworks and solutions to client problems.

Assist in the preparation of study protocols and draft reports.

Analyze and interpret qualitative and quantitative real‑world data for deliverables.

Conduct primary and secondary research.

Lead workshops and moderate discussions.

Present results to external clients.

Assist with overall project management and client management.

Attend client and external meetings, usually accompanied by a colleague.

Review and analyze client requirements to develop project proposals.

Produce initial drafts of proposals based on client RFPs and supporting information.

Experience Associate Consultant:>2 years of experience in database or health outcomes research, or in the pharmaceutical industry in a relevant area such as business analytics, marketing, market access, epidemiology, pharmacovigilance, outcomes research, health economics, RWE/RWD or biostatistics. Experience typically gained in one of the following environments: healthcare consultancy, pharmaceutical or other healthcare industry, academic or governmental research organization, health services research setting.

Technical Skills and Knowledge (Assets)

Good understanding of pharmaceutical reimbursement process in Canada.

Proficiency in conducting analyses in databases and/or registries.

Longitudinal patient‑level data analysis.

Knowledge of outcomes research theory and practical project implementation.

Strong quantitative skills.

Competency in Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

High level of literacy– able to write reports and manuscripts in clear, accurate and concise language.

Interest and understanding of Canadian and international health care settings.

Experience with VBA for Excel a plus.

Experience with statistical software (SAS, SPSS, R) a plus.

Commercial awareness and understanding of health technology and pharmaceutical industry.

Knowledge of consulting methods, tools and techniques related to these areas.

Education Requirements PhD/Masters/MBA in relevant health sciences field. Clinical qualifications a plus (MD, PharmD, NP,…).

Salary Range The potential base pay range for this role, annualized, is $97,500.00– $147,500.00. Total compensation may include incentive plans, bonuses and other benefits.
