Description
Position: Laboratory Consultant– 12‑month contract. Responsibilities

Lead the design of complex, automated laboratory solutions to optimize customer processes and improve overall efficiency. Partner with multi‑functional teams and external stakeholders to align diagnostic solutions with unique customer priorities and challenges. Analyze laboratory best practices and performance data to recommend short‑ and long‑term process improvements.Utilize advanced simulation tools and proprietary methods to visualize and validate the performance of proposed laboratory systems. Communicate the strategic value of consulting services through expert documentation, professional presentations, and marketing materials. Ensure a seamless transition from the design phase to implementation by providing accurate drawings and floor plans.Foster commercial opportunities by positioning a comprehensive portfolio of services and diagnostic systems to key decision‑makers. Evolve global consulting practices by contributing to the development of standardized tools and high‑value service methods. Navigate complex organizational landscapes to influence people at all levels and drive successful project outcomes.Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related scientific/technical discipline. At least 5 years of experience in Operations, Engineering, Quality, or a similar field, with a proven track record of leading cross‑functional teams. Professional experience with process mapping, statistical analysis, and reporting tools to drive data‑driven results.Seasoned professional capable of exercising independent judgment to solve complex problems in an evolving environment. Proficient in English; fluent in French required for contact with colleagues across Canada. Preferred Qualifications

Advanced certification in continuous improvement (e.g., Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt). Over 5 years of consulting experience delivering process improvement and workflow optimization services within a healthcare or laboratory setting. Proficiency with laboratory data systems and middleware, demonstrating a strong understanding of how diagnostic solutions function at an institutional level.Benefits: Salary range 105,176.00– 138,043.50 CAD (based on primary location of Laval).
