Senior Activity Coordinator at Rocky View Foundation, Airdrie

Enhance the quality of life for seniors as an Activity Coordinator at Rocky View Foundation. This full-time role focuses on planning engaging activities to support residents' well-being.

In this position, you will report to the Lodge Manager and work from Tuesday to Saturday, 8 AM to 4 PM. As a crucial part of our team, your expertise in activity planning will foster a positive, inclusive environment for residents. You will assess interests and feedback to improve programs and ensure every resident feels engaged and valued.

Key Responsibilities:• Develop engaging monthly activity calendars for residents • Plan recreational and social activities tailored to interests • Encourage participation and gather feedback from residents • Collaborate with staff for successful activity execution • Maintain documentation on participationand outcomes

Requirements:• High school diploma required; degree in recreation preferred • Prior experience in activity planning, ideally in senior care • Strong communication and organizational skills • Ability to handle emergencies and ensure resident safety • Experience working with seniors or individuals with special needs
