This senior role requires expertise in medium to extra-high voltage utility substations, focusing on project development and technical excellence. Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of ten years in utility substation design. You'll collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and deliver high-quality design packages.

Key Responsibilities:• Direct substation design and ensure industry standards are met • Create one-line diagrams and conduct grounding lightning calculations • Prepare specifications for substation equipment and project proposals • Estimate construction costs and schedule projects efficiently• Travel occasionally to project sites when necessary

Requirements:• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent • Professional license (P.Eng) or ability to obtain • Ten years experience in substation design • Strong knowledge of IEEE/ANSI standards • EHV substation design experience is a plus
