Warehouse Assistant (Airdrie)

Do you want flexible hours or want to work a bit for some side money? We are looking for a casual warehouse assistant although it is seasonally busy for us and there will be lots of hours to go around in the next few months. If you have a positive attitude, are physically fit and have good attention to detail, this is the position for you.Responsibilities

Gift wrap gifts Box apparel and jewelry Assemble, label, wrap and pack outgoing packages Cleaning duties– including mopping and sweeping Call and email customers to arrange for shipments Use the computer to create packing slips Work in a team to ensure efficiency Maintain orders according to each customer’s requirementsEnsure each order is prepared in accordance with all standards Qualifications

While most merchandise is light and small, you may occasionally need to lift up to 40 pounds Warehouse experience preferred but not required (no forklift or motorized equipment) Organized, diligent, with strong attention to detail Ability to multi‑task, self‑direct and keep a steady work pacePositive communication skills and willing to work with a small team Must be able to commute to our warehouse in Airdrie, Alberta Basic computer skills To be considered for this role, you must answer the following question in the cover letter, application email or at the top of your resume: "In the duties section above, which task would be the most difficult for you to perform and why?
