Description
Territory Manager– Airdrie, Alberta Imperial Tobacco Canada, a member of the British American Tobacco Group, is hiring a Territory Manager for the Airdrie area and the surrounding regions. The role involves delivering commercial and consumer performance for multi‑category products through strong retailer and staff relationships and the use of digital tools and commercial insights.

Key Responsibilities

Manage territory to meet volume and market‑share targets supporting national, regional and district objectives.

Deliver an outstanding customer experience by leveraging digital assets, training retailers and staff, addressing queries promptly, monitoring contract compliance, and providing consumer insight-driven recommendations.

Generate and maintain market demand through adequate inventory, distribution targets, OOS reduction, effective merchandising, and competitive pricing across product portfolios.

Collaborate on special projects at the provincial and national levels with other Territory Managers.

Drive performance in a highly regulated market.

Requirements

1–3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in marketing or a FMCG/global organization.

Strong extracurricular participation record (e.g., case competitions, student groups, sports teams).

Excellent sales, communication and negotiation skills.

Strategic thinking, business insight and account management capabilities.

Energetic, driven and autonomous with a focus on long‑term objectives while capitalizing on short‑term opportunities.

Comfortable with digital tools and able to interpret commercial data to identify opportunities and execute plans.

Education&Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or a related field.

Valid driver’s licence in a Canada province or territory.

Legal right to work in Canada.

Bilingual (French and English); fluency in English is required for communication across Canada and internationally.
