About The Role In the role of a Production Worker/Samples Processor, you will be part of the Longboard team responsible for the production and delivery of high-quality samples to dealers and customers. You will work as part of a team, rotating through several positions in the department. The work in this department is critical because the samples you produce will go directly into the hands of the people who buy or sell our products.
What You Will Do
Incoming Inspection and Inventory Management: Receive, process, and label incoming samples accurately, reordering as needed.
Sample Preparation and Machine Operation: Prepare samples for shipment according to the customer orders. Preparation may include measuring, drilling, and deburring samples as required. Operating the cutback saw as needed to process parts.
Data Entry and Documentation: Accurately document order details, including dimensions, weight, quantities, and other relevant information into the MES (Seer).
Quality Control: Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality control guidelines to maintain the Quality Control Plan.
Communication and Coordination: Update the samples schedule and elevate any quality issues to the Quality Manager promptly to ensure efficient and consistent delivery to customers. Arrange freight to deliver packages to customers across North America.

About You You are someone who puts people first and consistently looks for ways to improve processes, prioritizing simplicity and transparency. You approach tasks with compassion and sustainability in mind, fostering an environment where human flourishing is valued.
Are you able to work full-time, Monday to Friday (40 hours/week) with shift times ranging between 5:30 am - 3:00 pm.
Have a reliable means of transportation.
Able to always wear prescribed PPE.
Familiar with LO/TO PPE and safety policies.
Able to lift/push/pull/carry up to 35 lbs. repeatedly and stand for the duration of your shift.
Experience working in an ISO 9001:2015 or 14001:2015 environment.
Production experience is a plus.
Familiarity using production software is a plus.
Familiarity with Lean concepts is a plus.
Fluent in English
